Bronwyn Barnes is a highly respected and experienced resources industry professional with extensive experience in working in Guinea and Mali, and a more than 25-year career successfully leading exploration and mining projects internationally.

With a particular skill set around working collaboratively with Government to achieve development outcomes, her achievements in the resources sector led her to be honoured in 2015 as the recipient of the Outstanding Women in Resources Award in Australia. Ms. Barnes was also inducted into the Western Australian Women’s Hall of Fame in 2019 for her services to the resources sector.

Bradley Doig also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at I-Pulse Inc., the majority shareholder of High Power Exploration, the parent company of Ivanhoe Liberia. Mr. Doig has 32 years of experience in funding, building, acquiring, advising, and managing businesses.

 Mr. Doig has held various executive positions in reputable organizations such as Billiton Limited (now BHP) from 1988 to 1997, (including Business Development Manager for Samancor Limited), Corporate Finance Practitioner at Kleinwort Benson Ltd, and Investment Banking Consultant at The International Bank of South Africa in 1996/9.

From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Doig worked as a Senior Executive in the Special Projects Division of Mercantile Bank, and in 2002, he served as a Group Executive of the management consultancy IQ Business Group. In the same year, he co-founded Decorum Capital Partners and held the positions of Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director of New Africa Mining Fund (NAMF) until 2006. While at NAMF, he co-founded Petmin Limited in 2005 and served as its Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director until 2022. He later became President and CEO of Petmin USA Inc. Mr. Doig is also a non-executive director of African Gold Acquisition Corp.

Ibrahim Baldé studied law at Hassan 1er University in Morocco.  He was selected by BHP Billiton in 2007 for its Green Shoots talent-recruitment programme, to develop future leaders for BHP Billiton’s operations in Guinea.  Mr Baldé studied and worked for a year in South Africa, where he learned English and BHP Billiton’s corporate culture at its head office in Johannesburg.  Returning to Guinea in 2008, he worked in the Nimba Iron Project’s Human Resources (HR) Department, after which he worked in Australia, with BHP Billiton’s HR Department at Port Hedland, West Australia.

Returning again to Guinea, Mr Baldé served as Human Resources Superintendent for the Nimba Iron Project from 2009 to 2012.  In 2012-13, he worked in the the Nimba Project’s Study Team based in London, developing the likely terms, conditions, opportunities and constraints relating to the Project’s future operations.

From later in 2013 until present, Mr Baldé has served as the Nimba Iron Project’s Government Relations Manager from its office in Conakry.  He quickly developed extensive working relationships at multiple levels across government, in particular with the Ministry of Mines and Geology but also with many other governmental departments and agencies with which the Nimba Iron Project interacts. He represents the Nimba Iron Project at the Guinean Chamber of Mines.
